Inside a Music Therapy Session
Every music therapy session is thoughtfully designed to help clients grow through meaningful musical experiences. Depending on each person’s goals, sessions may include singing, playing instruments, moving to music, creating rhythms, songwriting, or guided listening.
Our MT-BC therapists use these activities to support emotional expression, improve communication, strengthen social skills, build attention and motor coordination, and nurture confidence. Each session is individualized, engaging, and grounded in evidence-based practice—allowing clients to make progress in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.

Board-Certified Care You Can Trust
Our music therapy services are provided by MT-BC clinicians—licensed professionals certified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
This credential represents rigorous academic training, over 1,200 hours of supervised clinical experience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
At House of Muse, this means every session is grounded in evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and a deep understanding of how music supports emotional, cognitive, social, and behavioral growth. Your family receives care that is safe, effective, and truly individualized.
